About The Program:

Permian Warrior Partnership™ (PWP) is a veteran-focused, community-led initiative to proactively connect with all veterans and ensure access to quality resources and opportunities available in collaboration with the community. We aim to cultivate an integrated, resilient, and prosperous veteran community within the Permian Basin by improving veteran quality of life thus ending veteran suicide. Supported by funding from the Permian Strategic Partnership and the Abell-Hanger Foundation, it is the culmination of the Community Integration program.

Permian Warrior Partnership is standing by to serve veterans, their families, and caregivers in the Permian Basin. Coordinated assistance with veterans’ benefits and connections to local and national resources are just a call away!

Our Impact

All Smiles for This Texan Veteran

One of the most important parts of the outreach we do at Permian Warrior Partnership is that we are educating veterans, their families, and their caregivers around the Permian Basin about who we are and what we can do for them. By bridging the information gap, we can reach the underserved and isolated veterans in our communities, and though they may not need us when they first meet us, they’ll know we’re around when life happens.

Happy Campers Once More

Recreational activities like camping, hunting, and fishing offer healing opportunities for veterans coping with injuries. These outdoor experiences provide a peaceful environment where veterans can disconnect from the stresses of daily life and reconnect with nature and themselves.

Michael, an Army veteran, was selected as the winner of Permian Warrior Partnership’s Be Known campaign for a chance to win a weekend getaway with Healing America’s Heroes in New Mexico.
